Polyflon boasts low carbon footprint
We are delighted to receive fantastic results from our recent energy efficiency review.
The audit was carried out in June by Pro Enviro, in association with Keele University and Staffordshire Business & Environmental Network (SBEN) through the Low Carbon Business Evolution Programme. The programme aims to help businesses reduce CO2e emissions through investment in low carbon technologies.
Polyflon’s latest results show that our carbon footprint is classed as ‘low’ in comparison to similar organisations.
Matthew Pedley, Polyflon’s Operations Director commented;
“We’re very pleased with the review and it’s results. It’s helped us ensure that we’re doing what we can to reduce our impact on the environment and improved our environmental awareness throughout the whole company. We plan to continue to look at ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint further with the installation of solar panels, use of LED lighting and through carbon offsetting.”
