FEP heat shrink tubing, due to its thermoplastic nature, reacts much easier to heat than PTFE and can shrink at temperatures as low as 130˚C (266˚F) dependent on wall thickness and shrinking method and can follow the contours of components very closely. FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) enjoys a high degree of inertness; is an excellent dielectric like PTFE but has the benefit of being almost completely transparent.
