PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing

Shrink Ratio 4:1

About PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing

PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing enjoys the broadest chemical resistance; exhibits excellent electrical insulation properties and has an extremely low coefficient of friction. The application possibilities are many, however, the shrink temperature of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) is relatively high at 340°C so care should be taken to ensure that the item to be covered can withstand such temperatures.

PTFE Heat Shrink Applications:

  • • PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing is ideal for roller covering in applications where viscous residues are present thanks to its non-stick characteristic.
  • • Due to its impressive electrical insulation performance, PTFE heat shrink tubing is widely used for the sleeving of electrical terminations. Owing to its universal chemical compatibility, such sleeving provides protection for temperature probes and level sensors operating in very corrosive environments.
