Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing

Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing is mainly used to encapsulate/protect components from moisture, air or aggressive media. Cable functions are the main field of application. The Dual Wall Heat Shrink design consists of an outer PTFE tube which is then lined with a melt fusible FEP tube. When heat is applied the FEP softens and flows over the component; the PTFE tube then shrinks down onto the FEP. Following the cooling phase, the FEP sets and is firmly bonded to the PTFE to create a strong, tight encapsulation.
