Series 5L Moulded needle valve
Whenever liquids & gases need to be regulated in-line, our Series 5L needle valve is the ideal solution.
With 8 full turns of the knurled spindle knob the valve can be fully opened or closed offering the operator a high degree of media control without the need for costly measurement graduations.
Although intended for panel mounting with the aid of a bulkhead nut, this needle valve can also be positioned in-line using standard clips that hold the valve around its female ports.
Series 5L needle valves are designed for handling aggressive or high purity media and, therefore, lend themselves to many science based applications.
As standard, one can use either a PP, PFA or PVDF needle valve.
The PVDF needle valve is used extensively in water treatment/purification equipment and is also utilised widely in most laboratory exercises.
The PFA version is best suited to high temperature, high purity & highly aggressive applications such as semicon/micro-electronics or where concentrated acids are present.
The PVDF needle valve, however, remains the most popular due to it being very cost effective and the most universally compatible.
