Series 1B Compression fitting
The Series 1B connector is specifically designed to suit fabric reinforced PVC tubing. As shown in the section image to the left a tapered connecting sleeve forms part of the body of the fitting, onto which the ID of the tubing is pushed. As a result the OD of the tube expands allowing the knurled nut behind to secure the tube once tightened. Pressure tests have shown that this connection principle is easily able to withstand up to 30bar at 20C.

Series 1D Flare fitting
The Series 1D connector is designed mainly for the microelectronics/semiconductor market where complete inertness, zero dead-volume & high purity are essential. PFA flare fittings are the most popular connector for this application. Series 1D fittings are designed to suit imperial size tubing with a standard wall of 0.062”/1/16” (1.59mm). PFA flare fittings are available in High Purity (HP) quality & can be supplied nitrogen bagged if desired. All material traceability is assured.
